German as a foreign language: Demand is getting bigger<\/h3>\n

\u201eLife is too short to learn German!\u201c Today we do not know who this famous quote comes from. Suspicions point to two authors who wrote in English. What a Mark Twain<\/strong> or Oscar Wilde<\/strong> what was a major challenge in the 19th century seems to many people today from the most diverse countries and backgrounds to be an adventure worth living.<\/p>\n

This is also shown by the statistics. According to the German Federal Foreign Office, in 2015 almost 15.5 million people worldwide were learning the German language. A very high demand for German courses can also be observed in other countries in the German-speaking area. Interest in German courses in Switzerland has never been so high, and the quotation serves as unnecessary demotivation for the numerous German course participants.<\/p>\n

GERMAN COURSES ARE NOT BOOMING BY CHANCE<\/h3>\n

\nHowever, the motivations are diverse. The main reason is undoubtedly the economic momentum in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, which today count among the most important destination countries for many migrant workers and refugees.<\/p>\n

High- and low-skilled workers or students from all over the world must above all German courses in Switzerland<\/strong> to visit in order to pave the way for a successful socio-cultural and economic integration in these countries.<\/p>\n

NUMEROUS REASONS FOR GERMAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE<\/h3>\n

\"Learn<\/p>\n

German as a foreign language owes this popularity not only to the better employment and educational opportunities in these countries. German is the language of poets and thinkers. Great Germans such as Goethe, Schiller, Kant, Marx, Hegel, Humboldt, Luther, Einstein, and Lessing have strongly influenced art, literature, science, and philosophy not only in the German-speaking world, but throughout the entire world.<\/p>\n

Even great Austrians like Rilke, Kafka, Zweig, Freud or great Swiss like Frisch and D\u00fcrrenmatt and many other philosophers, scientists or writers have inspired the whole world with their works and continue to do so today. Without these great personalities we would have much less today German courses for foreigners<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A third very important motivation for German as a foreign language is the beautiful countryside of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The Alpine countries in particular offer many nature lovers numerous tourist highlights and this increases the interest in the German language.<\/p>\n
