Arabic: an old language with new relevance<\/b><\/h3>\n

Arabic is one of the oldest and yet most dynamic languages in the world. Unfortunately, not everyone knows this. Over 380 million people speak it as their mother tongue. More than 1.5 billion Muslims worldwide also use it in a religious context. This makes it one of the most influential languages of our time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Arabic is, however, far more than just tradition. It is a language with future potential, especially in Europe and Switzerland. Anyone who learns this language today is opening doors to new markets, cultures and, of course, lived realities tomorrow. This represents an incredible enrichment on a linguistic, cultural and human level<\/span><\/p>\n

Demography & Growth: A language on the rise<\/b><\/h3>\n

The Arabic-speaking world is growing. Not only is it growing demographically, but also economically and technologically. Countries such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Morocco and the United Arab Emirates are currently enjoying a young population and are investing heavily in education, digitalisation and innovation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Arabic is already among the five most spoken languages in the world. The number is continuing to rise, and anyone who is among the learners will not regret it in the future.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Middle East and North Africa are known to be rich in resources and are at the same time important trading partners for Europe. Whether in energy supply, infrastructure projects or tourism, Arabic-speaking countries play a central role in the global economy. And not just abroad, but also in international companies in Switzerland.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tens of thousands of people with Arabic roots live in Switzerland. They come from countries such as Syria, Lebanon, Eritrea, Somalia or Morocco.
