In Switzerland, it is spoken by 1.8 million people. It is an official language to which the Swiss are very attached. Speaking French in Switzerland \u2013 and in particular in Basel, a city bordering France \u2013 is a major asset, or even compulsory, for working in the academic and institutional spheres and in all national and international companies. <\/p>\n
Whether it's to go on holiday to Senegal, to move to Quebec or to find love in Lausanne, you will always have a good reason to learn French. There are as many reasons as there are learners. <\/p>\n
