French courses for the DELF and DALF certificates
The DELF stands for Diploma in French Language Studies and covers levels A1 to B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The DALF, on the other hand, stands for the Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française and covers levels C1 and C2 of the CEFR. These are the internationally recognised certificates for French as a foreign language.
Through this French certificates the six proficiency levels of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) for French are certified. Depending on the language level, one can freely decide which French certificate one wishes to acquire. The six certificate levels of DELF and DALF are independent of each other.
What does the DELF or DALF certificate do?
These language certificates for DELF and DALF offer many advantages if you want to prove your written and spoken French language skills during your studies or work.
It covers all six levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. These are A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, and the programme is aimed at all groups of people of any age.
In addition, it is possible to take all levels as independent examinations. Thus, depending on your language proficiency, you can freely decide which of the two language certificates you wish to acquire for which level.
The validity of the DELF certificate is unlimited. It certifies the mastery of the four language skills, namely reading comprehension, listening comprehension, and written and oral expression. It is possible to enrol at a French higher education institution with the B2 level DELF certificate.
