German as a foreign language: Demand is getting bigger
„Life is too short to learn German!“ Today we do not know who this famous quote comes from. Suspicions point to two authors who wrote in English. What a Mark Twain or Oscar Wilde what was a major challenge in the 19th century seems to many people today from the most diverse countries and backgrounds to be an adventure worth living.

Even great Austrians like Rilke, Kafka, Zweig, Freud or great Swiss like Frisch and Dürrenmatt and many other philosophers, scientists or writers have inspired the whole world with their works and continue to do so today. Without these great personalities we would have much less today German courses for foreigners.
A third very important motivation for German as a foreign language is the beautiful countryside of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The Alpine countries in particular offer many nature lovers numerous tourist highlights and this increases the interest in the German language.
