Our Superintensive courses take place daily in the morning and last 4 weeks. Parallel to this, there are daily Intensive German courses, which are held both in the morning and in the afternoon and last for 8 weeks.
For participants who are unable to attend a course on a daily basis, we offer German semi-intensive courses These take place three days a week, both in the morning and in the afternoon, and run for 14 weeks.
For those who have no time during the day, we offer Evening classes for German . These take place four days a week and have a duration of 20 weeks.

The SLA Basel offers German courses with a voucher for individuals who have received a voucher for 80 free German lessons from the Canton of Basel-Stadt. With this voucher, you can attend a German course free of charge and specifically improve your German language skills.

Who can redeem the voucher?
The voucher for the German course in Basel is generally aimed at newcomers with a B residence permit.
It is valid for 12 months and can be redeemed at SLA Basel.

The voucher courses are offered at levels A1 to B2. Before the course starts, you will receive a personal consultation and a free placement test.
How large are the class sizes?
The courses take place in small groups of 3 to 8 participants, allowing for personal attention.
Can I take the fide test or a telc exam after the German course at SLA Basel?
Yes. After the free German course in Basel, you can take an official exam, either the telc exam or the fide test. SLA Basel offers telc exams from A1 to C2 and the fide test from A1 to B1.
