How to prepare for an interview
Anyone who has stated „fluent“ or „negotiation-proof“ for their English skills in their CV can expect their English proficiency to be tested during an interview. Therefore, it is important to state English skills correctly and to be prepared for such tests.
However, you should not leave this field blank just because you cannot speak English fluently or to a business-fluent standard. There are various levels for this, and you should enter these in the field. These details could also play a part in receiving a positive response.
For example, if you have a basic vocabulary, master the most important grammar rules and can hold simple conversations, you fall into the group of people with basic knowledge. People have good knowledge who can read and understand newspapers in English and can take part in a conversation.

For example, you can write your application documents in English, learn them by heart and then present them to your family members or friends.
To get into the mood, you can also visit the English version of the company website, read the company history in English there, and try to bring these facts into the conversation in English. Otherwise, it is of course beneficial to talk to yourself in English until the interview.
