How to get there:
From the station Basel SBB will you make it to the bus stop „Basel, Münchensteinerstrasse“ in a short time by tram (including with lines 10 and 11Alternatively, you can also easily reach the location on foot from the station – depending on the route, it takes about 10 to 15 minutes.
Parking:
There are in the surrounding area Blue zone parking spaces available, though in a limited number. Those who prefer to park in the multi-storey car park can do so South Station multi-storey car park use (Güterstrasse 115; access via Meret-Oppenheim-Strasse).

Structure of the telc A2 examination
The telc A2 examination consists of a written and an oral part. Everyday language use at A2 level is tested: understanding, targeted reacting and communicating in typical situations.
Written part: Reading, listening, writing
Read: short everyday texts (e.g. notices, advertisements, messages, simple letters) and corresponding tasks
Listen: short announcements, information or dialogues from standard situations; you extract important details and choose the correct solution
Write: Complete the form details and write a short message or brief note.
Oral part: Speaking
To introduce oneself: provide personal details and talk briefly about yourself
Casual conversation Asking questions, giving information and reacting to the person opposite you
Negotiate Make suggestions, compare options and make a decision together
Important:
You do not have to speak without errors. What matters is that you can express yourself clearly and easily master typical situations at A2 level.

Cancellation / Transfer / Refund (briefly explained)
The registration is binding and as a rule non-refundable.
If you need to log out, your logout at the latest 16 days before the examination date be received at the Swiss Language Academy. Cancellation takes place in writing only and that is what is decisive Date of receipt your message to the Swiss Language Academy.
Important:
Failure to make a payment, not receiving an invoice or non-attendance on the day of the exam shall not be deemed a cancellation.
If you withdraw after the withdrawal deadline has passed or fail to attend on the day of the examination, the full examination fee (100 %) will be payable. A refund is only possible in the event of serious illness and requires a doctor’s certificate. In this case, however, an administration fee of CHF 80 will be charged.
Anyone who does not attend without a valid cancellation will not receive a refund.
Rescheduling and registration after the cancellation deadline
A rebooking is only possible up to the registration deadline. The binding deadlines for the telc A2 exam can be found on our website.
The Swiss Language Academy can postpone an exam date if too few participants have registered.
Registrations received after the cancellation deadline cannot be cancelled.
No aids allowed in the telc A2 exam
Throughout the entire telc A2 examination, in both the written and oral parts, no aids are permitted. This includes, among other things, ballpoint pens, dictionaries and electronic devices such as smartphones, smartwatches or similar items.
Only the following are permitted:

All other items will be stored securely for the duration of the examination.
Result & Certificate
When do you get your result?
The telc A2 exam is evaluated after the date. Depending on the examination date and current workload, you will usually receive your result within 4 to 6 weeks.
