A1 Semi-Intensive German Course: Reach A1 Level Step by Step

At SLA Basel, the A1 level is divided into two sub-levels: German A1.1 and German A1.2. Each sub-level lasts 9 weeks. In the A1.1 German Course, you complete the first half of A1 level at SLA Basel and learn the most important foundations of the German language.

To successfully complete the entire A1 level, you then attend the A1.2 German Course at SLA Basel. After successfully completing both sub-levels, you will have reached the full A1 level. At SLA Basel, the entire A1 level can be completed within 18 weeks.

The A1 Semi-Intensive German Courses at SLA Basel take place three times a week – every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. For maximum flexibility, SLA Basel offers various course times:

10:45–12:15
