Intensive German Course C1: Step by Step to C1 Level

At SLA Basel, C1 level is divided into two sub-levels: German C1.1 and German C1.2. Each sub-level lasts 6 weeks. In the Intensive German Course C1.1, you will expand your language competence and learn to understand even complex content with confidence and express yourself in a nuanced way.
In the subsequent Intensive German Course C1.2, you will further deepen your knowledge and develop precise and stylistically confident language use. This allows you to successfully complete the entire C1 level in 12 weeks.

Intensive German C1 Courses in Basel with Flexible Course Times

The intensive courses at SLA Basel take place daily from Monday to Friday and enable continuous learning progress. For maximum flexibility, different course times are available:

• 09:00 – 10:30 a.m.
• 10:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
• 14:00–15:30 p.m.

Thanks to these flexible course times, you can easily combine the German course with your work, studies, or family life.

Course Content in the Intensive German Course C1

In the Intensive German Course C1, you will further develop your speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills at an advanced level. You will learn to understand demanding texts with confidence, recognise implicit meanings, and express yourself spontaneously, fluently, and precisely.
In addition, you will expand your vocabulary, deepen your understanding of complex grammar structures, and practise arguing convincingly as well as expressing yourself clearly and in a structured way in professional, academic, and challenging everyday situations.

C1 German Course in Basel with Official Examination Option

After completing the C1 German course, you can prove your language skills with a certified examination. At SLA Basel, you have the opportunity to take the telc C1 examination directly on site and obtain an official language certificate. The certificate confirms your German skills at C1 level and is recognised proof for work, studies, and further education.
